Um grupo de amigos do marido se reune toda lua cheia (ou na sexta em que a mesma antecede a mesma) para fazer churrasco. Quando chegamos no lugar fiquei super surpresa com o que vi.

Simplesmente um bosque sem ninguem e sem luz eletrica, somente com a luz da fogueira e do luar.O lugar e alto e voce tem uma vista super previlegiada de metade da Ilha e tambem a Victoria Lines, um muro defenssivo construido na epoca da Rainha Victoria a seculos passados.

 Confesso que como boa paulista, fiquei assusta e desconfortavel no primeiro momento, infelizmente  devido a violencia exbidida diariamente nos jornais brasileiros.Sei que nao sao todos os lugares do Brasil que  tem violencia a todo momento, mas eu fico sempre com medo de lugares sem muita circulacacao.

Depois de ja acostumada, curti muito a noite regada de vinho e boa conversa =). Que venham muitos churrascos e encontrinhos como esses ao ar livre e tudo bem natural!!!

A group of Mario’s friends meet every month on the Friday nearest to the full moon to do a barbecue. When I arrived at the place, I was surprised with what I saw there.

The place was in the woods, without electricity, only with fire and moon light. It’s in a high part of Malta and you can see half of the island below you. It’s near the Victoria Lines, a defensive wall built in the times of Queen Victoria, more than a hundred years ago.

I confess that as a Brazilian I was afraid and uncomfortable at first, because of the violence that we see daily on the news in Brazil. This violence is not everywhere in Brazil all the time, but I’m always afraid in places without a lot of people.

After I got used to it, I enjoyed the night a lot, with wine and good friends =). I want more meetings like this in nature with fresh air.
